I admit I was mad that I made it to maine for the 1st tine and wasn’t able to get any lobster…but managed to find a really lobster roll. #OnTheMenu Eventide brown butter lobster roll and 10 oysters from the Maine area (Norumbega, Moshier Island, Bull Pen, , White Island, Pemaquid, North Haven, Otter Cove, Dodge Cove, Winnegance, and Browne Point)… and two away oysters (Chatham, and Duxbury Selects)…then a full New England Clam Bake (Steamers, mussels, lobster, potatoes, salt pork and egg in a nice steam pot. #WashedDown with a Oxbow Moonrocks and Maine Beer Co. Lunch. I have to say…the lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had…the open face Asian buttered bun…is drool worthy. The oysters…different flavors from the east I devour…yes…i could do dozens…but I went for the clam bake instead with mussels, clams, lobster tail and a sliver of pork. #FoodMission sucessful and rewarding after this week.
