Quick #ADayAtTheMuseum…on to the second part of the Equal Justice Initiative…this time at the National Memorial for Peace and Justice…its the first memorial dedicated to the history of the enslaved black people, people terrorized by lynching, racial segregation and Jim Crow, and people of color burdened with contemporary presumptions of guilt and police violence…this compliments the Legacy Museum which is about a mile away…they do have shuttles between the two…but it’s better to go to this 1st since they close the earliest. #WheresNate #DiscoveringAlabama #RoamingMontgomery
