After #OnTheMenu Cab NY strip and Salmon chips. The steak…was great. Cooked perfectly as well. Nice amount of char and incredibly juicy. The mash potatoes had that homemade feel to them as well. The salmon chips were different…awesomely good…a few chips did lack the chipotle cream cheese throughout the chip…it wasn’t until the last one I got to taste it along with the salmon on each bite. So walk a few blocks and find chinese #OnTheMenu Mongolian Beef. So…they didnt give me an option of spicy Mongolian beef…hmmm…the food dir come out pretty fast…seems like a family run deal. Overall…another meh…the dish seemed a little small…looks like i got more rice than anything…but there was a lack of “juice” to get that good mix ratio. Kinda missed the mark on the Mongolian beef flavor here. Plus it took like 10min for for me to get chili oil. A quick snack before hitting the road again. So checking out this food network chef from chopped spot. #OnTheMenu Chef Sammy’s award winning Shrimp and grits paired with some fried green tomatoes. So as a whole the shrimp and grits was pretty amazing. The sausage was actually pretty good turkey sausage…the jumbo shrimp and the cajun creme sauce was the best. The fried green tomatoes…were sorta average but the chipotle dip put it over the top. Service was pretty good…very attentive staff.
